Before I started Aquema in early 2018, I was in the following situation: I was single, obviously interested in women, had a good job, bought a property, wanted to have children and was frustrated with what the online dating market had to offer.
And if we are all being honest: Most existing dating apps and portals are a joke!
In general, it is noticeable that these dating apps are all about money, profit, earnings, capital, results. It’s not about a lot of people finding and loving each other. No… money rules the world.
Well, and it’s for this reason and these thoughts (and basically because I wanted to start a cool project and have a start-up) an idea was born. I wanted to build something with meaning and give something back. Nowadays, we are lucky to have access to tools and technology that can have a impact on lives. I simply want to make a positive change to our LGBTQ-Community. That purpose pushed me in building Aquema.
So know we offer a sophisticated, fair, privacy-friendly, serious, affordable, male-free dating app for women, because I really, really, really want to bring as many women together as possible and that they stay together. Because what is more beautiful than two women who love each other?!
The app is still in its infancy and now we have to continuously improve it and adapt it to the needs and wishes of our users. We are really looking forward to this journey.
